Revolut Business
Multi-currency business account with corporate cards, expense management, and strong FX for cross-border spend.
Overview
Revolut Business is a multi-currency business account paired with corporate cards and expense management. In the US, cards are prepaid and balance-funded, drawn from the account balance and offered on both Visa and Mastercard. Because spend is limited to deposited funds, there is no personal guarantee or personal credit check.
Paid plans start at $10 per user per month on Basic, with no free tier in the US. Stepping up to the Grow plan at $40 per user per month adds custom multi-step approval workflows and access to the public Business API. Card controls, spend policies, virtual cards, and accounting sync are available across plans.
Day-to-day spend management is handled with up to 50 virtual cards per member, per-card spend, category, and country controls, and native sync to accounting tools including QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, and Sage Intacct. Receipt capture and employee reimbursements are available but sold as an Expenses add-on at extra per-member cost.
Best for
- Businesses that want corporate cards without a personal guarantee or credit check, since spend is funded by and limited to the account balance.
- Teams that lean on virtual cards, with up to 50 per member and per-card spend, category, and country controls.
- Finance teams that need their card data to flow into accounting, given native sync to QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and more on all plans.
- Companies wanting multi-step spend approvals and programmatic access via a REST Business API, both available from the $40 Grow plan up.
Less ideal for
- Buyers wanting a free tier or the lowest possible entry cost, as the US has no free plan and Basic starts at $10 per user per month.
- Teams expecting receipt capture and employee reimbursements at no extra cost, since both sit in a paid Expenses add-on billed per member on top of the plan price.
- US buyers wanting a dedicated bill-pay / accounts-payable invoice workflow, which is not confirmed for the US; supplier and subscription payments run through virtual company cards instead.
- Businesses that need a true credit card with a spending limit beyond their cash on hand, since US cards are prepaid and capped at the available account balance.
