The verdict
Revolut Business
Best for multi-step approvals and expense controls
Revolut adds what Wise lacks: custom multi-step spend and expense approval workflows (Grow plan), AI receipt capture, and built-in reimbursements. Cards run on Visa or Mastercard. Trade-offs are a $10/user/mo Basic floor with no free tier, and a public API gated to the $40 Grow plan.
Wise has no monthly software fee (one-time ~$31 setup) versus Revolut's $10/user/mo floor, and charges no foreign-transaction fees at the mid-market rate. It also carries a SOC 2 Type II attestation. The gap: per-card limits and freezes only, with no multi-step approval routing, and Visa cards only.
